So you think you can dance? Maybe not..but I’ll give it a go

A little while ago I blogged about a guilty pleasure of mine (Midsomer Murders), and I need to confess that my second one is *sigh..hanging head* So you think you can dance. I know, I know it’s reality TV the lowest of low. But at least this show is actually about doing something you are good at! I think it appeals to me because I used to dance when I was younger, and when you’re little you tend to try a whole load of different things, and don’t tend to stick to them. I live my dancing life vicariously through them.

And in fact, it’s dances like the below that make me want to start dancing again:

So I have decided to take it up (Hip Hop mainly) at Dancekool. It’s funny going through the process of trying to find a dance school, there aren’t many out there that specialise in Hip Hop. And I wanted to real deal. So we’ll see how it goes eh? I’ll blog about my progress because it is an actual course, not just open classes. Hopefully I can bring it!

  1. I would never have called myself a fan of dance … but I find that show quite entertaining. It’s done well to move beyond the cliches which usually plague that artform. At lost of those moves are extraordinary.

And a very cool choice, Laura. Get on board the hot tomali train …(whatever that means).

  2. In the words of Mary Murphy “I’ve got a fever tonight!” Toddski get your dancing shoes on.
